“One drawback here is that the hybrid, like every Elantra for 2025, is front-wheel drive only. Sure, some may say “slap a quality set of winter tires on and you’ll be fine!” However, others may want or need the all-wheel drive system and look further down the alphabetized automaker list, straight to Toyota. In addition, kudos to Hyundai’s engineers for achieving such superb fuel consumption figures with a six-speed dual clutch transmission.”
